No — membership is not required to attend the inaugural meeting.
We’ll be covering MSLA’s incorporation, nominations for executive roles (VP, Secretary, Treasurer), and our plans and goals for the year ahead.
Yes! Self-nominations are welcome and can be made on the night. Nominees will be required to make roughly a 2 min speech presenting why they should be elected.
No prior experience is required. Passion, commitment, and a willingness to contribute are what matter most.
Yes — some food will be provided during the meeting.
Just yourself and any questions or ideas you’d like to share. A notepad or device may help if you plan to take notes.
It’s structured but welcoming and collaborative. The goal is to build MSLA together, not to overwhelm anyone.
