Thank you for supporting the Sri Lankan Association of Melbourne. We are committed to providing quality community events and membership services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued.


1. Membership Fees

  • Membership fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed.
  • Exceptions may be considered in cases of:
    • Duplicate payment
    • Technical errors during the transaction
    • Exceptional personal circumstances (subject to committee approval)

To request a refund under one of these exceptions, please contact us at [yourassociation@email.com] within 14 days of payment.


2. Event Tickets and Registrations

  • Cancellations by You:
    • Refunds may be offered if you cancel at least 5 business days before the event.
    • No refunds will be issued for no-shows or cancellations made less than 5 days before the event.
  • Cancellations by Us:
    • If an event is cancelled or significantly changed by us, a full refund will be provided.

3. How Refunds Are Processed

  • Approved refunds will be returned via the original payment method.
  • Please allow up to 7–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.
