Your association, your say
The President, the Treasurer, the people organising every event you come to — all of them are elected by Members, at this meeting.
Anyone can attend. But to vote, or to stand for a position yourself, you need to be a Member.
Membership is $30 a year. It also gets you member pricing on tickets, rewards points and the rest of the perks — the vote is just the part that matters this month.

Who you’re voting for
Trivia nights, cricket, afternoons on the pier, culturals — every one of them run by members who put their hand up at an AGM. This vote decides who does it next.
Positions up for election
Every one is elected by Members on the night. You can stand for as many as you like.
Beyond the eight elected positions, MSLA runs on a wider group of officers and support roles — the people behind events, media, charity drives and everything in between. These aren’t elected at the AGM: they’re appointed afterwards, through a short interview.
Dates, the full list of roles and how to express interest will be shared closer to the time. If you’d like to be involved but none of the elected positions are right for you, this is the one to watch.
